"did you know that new zealand is a theocracy?" the middle-aged man interjects.
he signals for another tray.
he had just cut the line ahead of me in the airport security—his wife was up front about to hop in the metal detector.
so I guess that gives him a free advance-to-go card.
"huh?" i handed him another tray. he had the same amount of baggage as me, and same kinds too actually[leather weekender, canvas tote, black jacket] but needed double the amount of tray for some reason.
"a theocracy, a governing body empowered by religion," he explained.
i looked at him funny. "umm... is that a good thing?"
